conducted for the recruitment of constables (General Duty) to Central Armed

Age
Limit
Age of the
candidate should be from 18-23 years during the process of application.
Upper age
relaxation of 05 years for ST/SC and 03 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates
is applicable only if posts are reserved for them.
03 years age
relaxation for the Ex-Servicemen after deduction of the military service
rendered from the actual age on the closing date.
Age relaxation
for the Children and dependents of victims
killed in the 1984 riots or communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat is 05
(Unreserved), 08 (OBC), 10 (ST/SC)

Citizenship
Candidates
applying for the SSC CPO exam must be a citizen of India.
SSC GD vacancies
are released state or UT wise, so a candidate is required to produce Domicile/ PRC
against his/ her state/UT.
Educational
Qualification
Candidates passed
10th or equivalent from a recognized board. Candidates appearing for
the qualifying exam are not eligible for the exam.

Based Examination: The online Test for SSC GD includes
objective types questions and has four sections as:

General knowledge
and Awareness

Physical
Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who
cleared the CBE are called fir the PET and PST to test candidate’s physical
fitness.
Medical
Examination: Shortlisted
candidates who qualify the PET and PST are required to go for detailed Medical
examination to assess their physical and medical fitness.

be medically fit according to the Medial Standard set by the commission for SSC
GD.
Eyesight
A Minimum Near Vision: -N6 Better Eye, N9 Worse Eye
Minimum Distant Vision: - 6/6 Better eye, 6/9 worse
eye
In case the candidate is
right-handed, the right eye is better and vice versa.
The standard must be without
any sort of visual corrections.
