All India Sainik School Entrance examination is the best gateway for young men who wish to serve the nation. All India Sainik Schools were established by the Sainik School Society under the Ministry of Defence. The Sainik School was established in 1961 by V.K. Krishna Menon, the then Defence Minister of India. The Exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency to prepare the students for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and the Indian Naval Academy (INA).

Sainik School Exam 2023

There is a total of 25 Sainik Schools all over India. The exam is conducted for the admission of the young boys to class 6th and 9th. Sainik School Society started admitting girl students from the year also releases applications for girl students to Sainik School Bijapur, (Karnataka), Chandrapur (Maharashtra), Ghorakal (Uttarakhand), Kodagu (Karnataka), and Kalikiri (Andhra Pradesh). Girl students who wish to join Sainik School in class 9th can apply online.

AISSEE-2023, Eligibility Criteria

Age

For Class 6th the age of the student should be between 11 and 13 years. Students studying in the class 4th in a recognized school will be eligible to apply.

For class 9th the age of the student should be between 14 and 16 years. Students studying in class 8th in a recognized school will be eligible to apply.
